I call this my Strawberry-Bannana Delight

Thought I would share a picture of a desert that I made. I was so pleased with the way it turned out. I had fun decorating the top if it........................and it tasted pretty good too.

Take a yellow cake mix and bake as directed. After it cools, slice in in 1/2. Set the top layer aside. Mix 2 80z packages of cream cheese with one large box of Instant vanilla pudding mix (prepared). Spread over bottom layer of cake, and then top with a layer of sliced strawberries, and sliced banannas. Add the top layer of cake, and then repeat the process of layers. Top with cool whip, and decorate how ever you like. I used seedless green grapes cut in half for the leaves, and strawberries of course for the flowers. Then I took some red sprinkles to finish my decoration.

Took a little weekend trip to Branson.

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CDAY

It is soooooo nice outside. I am looking so forward to the nice weekend that we are going to have. I need to go this afternoon and get on the mower, it will be nice out and plus we have someone coming to look at the house tomorrow night. WISH US LUCK! We look forward to getting started on a new house.............BUT we have to sell ours first.

Lunch with Kirtis today!

I had lunch with my son Kirtis today at .

We saw Douglas (Steve's dad) and his friend Sandra there, and we also saw Mr. Glen Adams and his wife. It was really busy there today, I think it was senior citizens day. They also had a few new people being trained at the register and it was a little slow, but all in all we had a good lunch as we always do.

Waiting to get home this afternoon....wanting to ride while it is pretty.

I hope that when I am this age I am still able to enjoy the fun things.
I am ready to get home this afternoon so I can get some riding in with Steve while we have a few hours of pretty weather left. Rain, Rain , Rain tomorrow.

We miss our friends Jesse and Judy.....they have been busy working 7 days a week, and 12 hours a day. I am glad they got Easter weekend off.

I cant imagine working that many hours.............boy I would sure be CRANKY.

Working today because of storms......

Our office had the day off today, but since it stormed last night, we came on in to answer phones. Hopefuly it will not just be real busy, I am sure we will get several calls from the hail and the tornado in Mena, and damage in Dequeen. Oh well, I had nothing pressing to do today anyway.

My Friend Dottie and her Bike

Most of the rides we have went on have been with our friends Dottie and Stan. Dottie and I work together also. They have been great..........after all Steve and I are really new at this bike riding thing, and they have been very kind about asking us to ride with them, and showing us the ropes. We are looking forward to the first week in May which is when we will go on our first REAL RIDE...and Poker Run.

The picture is of Dottie and her OWN bike..............she so much more adventurous than myself, I dont think that I will ever drive my own bike.

It is Tuesday, and I it will be a busy day again here at work, so I came in a littel early so I could post here on my new blog. It was a calm evening for us last night, both of us were tired, I watched Dancing with the stars and Steve watched some kind of deep sea fishing show.Kirtis came out and spent the night , he was working on his salt water tank, he is putting in a sump pump....I think that is what it is called. Ashley was on the phone all night...HA!
